Bird's Nest with American Ginseng & Red dates

BENEFITS:

INGREDIENTS (for 2-3 persons)
1. Bird Nest (3 pieces)
2. 2-3 rice bowl of room temperature water (for brewing purposes)
3. American Ginseng (to your preferences)
4. Seedless red dates (4-6 pieces)
5. Rock Sugar (to your taste)

STEPS:
1. Soak 3 pieces of Bird's Nest for 10mins with 2-3 rice bowls of room temperature water.
2. Pour away the water after 10 mins, and resoak with room temperature water for another 50 mins.
3. Keep the water after 50 mins for brewing as it may contain some mineral in the water.
  •Double boil the bird's nest for 1 hour (Nest Cake) and 1.5 hour (Nest Cup).
•Add in American Ginseng and Red Dates.
  •Once ready, add in some rock sugar to your taste and boil it for another 10 mins.
  •Stir lightly after 10 mins, off the fire and ready to serve.
